We are and continue to embed solution focused practice by adopting a Signs of Safety model, working with key partners across the district within our work with families and we have a clear model of care for the children and young people we look after.Weare looking to recruit friendly, dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our expanding Safeguarding and Reviewing Unit and we want to hear from you if you Have excellent innovation skills to join us on our journey to excellence Have the ability to workand contribute to a team Have a flexible approach when the need arises The role you would be coming to do:To provide independent monitoring and scrutiny of the care plans for children in care, ensuring appropriate and timely decision-making, the timely progressionof plans and the provision of high quality care.To work with children, families, social workers and other partners to achieve the best outcomes for children in care, bringing challenge and support to the work of social workers, managers and partners as requiredto raise the standard of care planning for all children in care.To quality assure and, when required, challenge the work of the Local Authority and other agencies to drive improvements in practice.The person we are looking for:We are looking for someone whohas experience of chairing meetings and quality assuring the delivery of services to Bradfords children in care. You need to ensure that the child/young persons voice is heard and is listened to within care planning. You need to be highly professional, offeringhigh support and high challenge to the social work teams and partner agencies who provide services to children in care. You need to be highly organised.
