Job Description

My client based in Yorkshire is looking for an experienced, Band 6/7 Histology Biomedical Scientist for a locum contract, starting as soon as possible.The Role:

  • Job Title: Biomedical Scientist
  • Band: 6/7
  • Department: Histology
  • Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
  • Working Pattern: Mon - Fri, 37.5 hrs/wk.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registered as a Biomedical Scientist.
  • 2 years experience in Histology Minimum.
  • UK experience in Cellular Pathology
  • Ability to cut at least 40 blocks per hour.
  • Ability to cut levels and serial sections.
  • Embedding
  • Special stains
  • Specimen dissection.
