Job Description

Walker Cole International are searching for a Head of Quality (QP) to join one of the UKs fastest growing Pharmaceutical companies, based in Yorkshire. As the Head of Quality (QP) you will lead the QA Operations team, ensuring GMP compliance and releasingsmall molecule products.You will be responsible for:

  • Leadership and management of the QA team which includes their training and development
  • Managing GMP strategy for the site, working closely with the senior leadership team
  • Performing batch release activities as a Qualified Person
  • Ensuring GMP compliance across the manufacturing site including audit scheduling and preparation
The successful candidate must have:
  • A degree (or equivalent) in a related subject (Life Sciences degrees are desirable)
  • Eligibility to act as a Qualified Person under the provisions documented in EU Directive 2001/83/EC (Desirable)
  • A proven track record of pragmatic quality leadership
  • An ability to work cross-functionally across multiple departments and seniority and with external stakeholders
