Job Description

Our client is a market leading international brand who have performed consistently well through the difficulties of 2020 and have now created a new role as European Trade Marketing Manager. Within this role you will be responsible for launching new products to a Trade audience across a number of countries throughout Europe. Youll review product ranges to ensure that appropriate products are being taken out to market with effective and consistent marketing across a range of territories. Youll form part of a great, successful business who look after their employees and will be rewarded with a competitive basic salary as well as a car, bonus and enhanced management benefits.The Role:

  • Review product ranges and brands across the region and coordinate activity to promote these effectively.
  • Drive brand positioning, focusing on new product launches and the supporting marketing requirements.
  • Work closely with country managers to identify appropriate channels, brief local agencies and manage marketing activity that will deliver increased exposure and sales.
  • Research and analyse markets and competitors to ensure appropriate pricing, promotions and advertising.
    • The Person:
  • Previous experience launching products in overseas markets.
  • Understanding of NPD process and developing products for launch.
  • Confident managing and briefing internal teams and external agencies for production of marketing campaigns.
  • Strong commercial awareness - comfortable reporting against plans, budgets and other metrics.
  • Experience marketing to a trade audience or within a b2b product category.
