A customer focused and successful fabricator and installation business wish to recruit an experienced Conservatory Surveyor who will be working with customers throughout the Yorkshire area. The role will involve measuring and completing surveys for manufacture, ensuring that any anomalies and on-site conditions are identified and accounted for in line with the latest FENSA & Building Regulations. As well as accurately measuring on a wide range of conservatory designs, the business also install orangeries and glass extensions making sure that the customer receives excellent service throughout the life-cycle of their project. The role will be based from home but will require regular trips into the office and factory. Measurements are uploaded onto the companys manufacturing software from survey forms and you will be required to make sure that this is entered accurately and that all installation and Health & Safety notes are confirmed and communicated effectively before each project starts on site. You will be a point of contact for Technical guidance including any planning matters for both internal and external stakeholders including installation teams when on site.Candidates will need to have experience of measuring conservatories and have a full understanding of Building & Planning Regulations as well as a good understanding of the installation process. You will be expected to adopt a thorough approach to conducting surveys and should be confident enough to push back to ensure that all aspects of the survey are identified, measured and checked accurately whilst working in a timely manner. The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis but the Business may consider a self-employed Surveyor who wishes to manage their own workload and invoice on a net value of the contract. They are a well-established company with several showrooms across Yorkshire and - as a Fabricator and Installer - they are able to control each aspect of the process themselves. For more information or to apply please contact Martyn Cotmore quoting reference MM2315.
