Job Description

SEN TEACHER CROYDON (CR0) PAID TO SCALE The roles will be full-time, long-term, supporting various aspects of education (all classroom based), 1:1 and group learning for college students, the college caters for children with ASD, SLD and ADHD.Location: Croydon (CR0)Pay Rate: Paid to scale Start Date: ImmediateContract:Temp to Perm Monday - Friday (Full-Time)Needs: ASD/SLD/ADHDThe successful applicants will have:

  • Experience of working with or caring for children of a relevant age
  • QTS qualified
  • Previous experience working with vulnerable individuals or SEN
  • Excellent Behaviour Management skills
  • Ability to utilise/implement Positive Behaviour Strategies
  • A calm, patient manner and ability to react positively to a fast-changing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, staff and parents/careers
  • Ability to competently use a computer and the Internet (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • An Enhanced Child or Child & Adult Workforce barred list DBS Certificate registered on the update service
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
