Nationwide the companyoperates 138 mixing plants to ensure efficient delivery to virtually any location in the UK.The role:To support the Plant Manager with the running of a busy Asphalt plant. Ensuring H&S is prioritized whilst ensuring the production needs of the customer is met.Reporting to the Plant Manager, key tasks will include: Weighbridge - Day to Day Operations Operation of Coating Plantproducing asphalt in accordance with technical quality standards Operation of the loading shovel General maintenance and housekeeping tasks around the site Complying with all Company Health, Safety & Environmental systems, and reporting procedures Experience working in a coating or similar production environment preferred but not essential A good understanding of industry Health, Safety and Environmental standards Good communication skills and teamwork NVQ Wheeled Loader license an advantagethough a full training package is provided Flexibility, reliability, and enthusiasm Ability to work within a busy team environment Fitting skills / Mechanical experience would be an advantageWhat my client can offer in return: 30k salary 23 days holiday going up to 25 after 12 months service Yearly bonus based on company results Working hours are 48 hours Monday to Saturday with the flexibility of start and finish times Yearly health screening for all staff Lifestyle website offering discounts for gyms, shops, restaurants etc. Career progressionDoes this role interest youAPPLY NOW.
