Job Description

Job title: Manufacturing Operative Salary Range: £19,00022,000 per annum £10 to £13 per hourHours: Monday - Thursday - 09:00 to 17:00 Friday 09:00 to 14:00 34.5 hours per weekLocation:Cradley Heath Permanent position working for a well-established family company that produces steel products for the marine industry. A flexible general manufacturing operator with an eagerness to learn and ability to merge into an establish hardworking team is required.Candidates who are self-motivated and able to perform physically demanding manual labour be well received.Due to increased work load this client based in Cradley Heath requires an Operator on a permanent basis. As a Manufacturing Operative, you will be required to:

  • Manually load and unload goods.
  • Be responsible for assisting with product assembly and shipping preparations.
  • Manage collections.
  • Carry out product deliveries to customers.
  • Execute various product testing procedures.
  • Commit to carry out anything else that management deems necessary.
The warehouse operative should have the following skills or licences:
  • Maintain good physical strength with the ability to carry out manual operations.
  • Capability to perform hands on tasks.
  • Hold a full clean drivers licence.
  • Previous Warehouse or stores experience.
