Job Description

Business Development Manager (Field Based/Sales Executive)Midlands Based (Occasional Travel to Office in Stourport-on-Severn)£35,000 Base Starting Salary + Uncapped Commission (OTE £55,000) 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Car Allowance + Laptop + Mobile Phone + Occasional Stayaway (Expenses covered)Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.Business Development Manager required for a continuously growing Installations and Service provider of various commercial equipment predominately with the retail sector. This is a great opportunity to join a business with an ever-expandingrole.The Successful Business Development Manager will have previous experience of business development and account management. You will have a successful track record of generating sales from prospect to developing key customer accounts. You willhave previous experience in the motor trade, manufacturing, or any kind of industrial/ technical products, those with experience of dealing with large retailers will be at a significant advantage but not essential.The Business Development Manager Role:

  • To sell equipment & chemicals in line with set KPI’s and sales targets.
  • Develop leads & opportunities provided by the company marketing activity across existing markets with new and current customers and key account customers.
  • Self-generate leads within new and emerging markets.
  • Prepare timely quotations for potential customers.
  • Follow up all leads to close.
  • Manage own time and appointments.
  • CRM management to plan and manage pipeline and sales.
  • Ensure customer information is kept up to date.
  • Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts.
The Successful Business Development Manager:
  • Experience of business development and account management.
  • You will have a successful track record of generating sales from prospect to developing key customer accounts.
  • You will have previous experience in manufacturing, or any kind of industrial/ technical products.
