Based in West Calder, theyre looking to add an Earthwork CAD Technician tojoin their growing team.Focusing largely on groundworks projects, you will play a vital role as part of the companys Engineering team and be supported in your development by the Engineering Manager, senior site engineers and land surveyors. Youll be office-based working closelywith the Engineering Manager with occasional site visits.As an Earthworks CAD Technician you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D earthworks models using AutoCAD to do cut and fill calculations using Trimble Site Vision software as data prep for the engineers out of the park.What do you need to applyPrevious experience within a similar role within the Civil Engineering sector within groundworks is desirable but training will be given.Proficient in all aspects of AutoCAD, ideally both 2D and 3D.Experience in N4ce and LSS is desiresExperience using Trimble Business Centre Software.Background in site engineering or land surveyingThe position is part of a long-term growth plan and, if interested, we would be happy to discuss the role and employer as part of a confidential discussion around your experience.
