Job Description

Saladin Security has been providing security services in the UK and internationally since 1978. This opportunity is for a senior security manager required for the management and administration of an existing security team and household staff, at the officialLondon residence of an ambassador and his family. The manager will be responsible for coordinating the close protection security team looking after the Ambassador, his wife and children, also involving liaison with the Embassy. Household staff including sitesecurity guards, drivers, cleaners and nanny, will be monitored and managed in accordance with the client’s directives. This is NOT a CP role, but requires some CP experience in order to manage the team effectively.Tasks:

  • Coordinate CP team to ensure cover for the Ambassador his wife and children, as required
  • Oversee residential security guards
  • Coordinate duty drivers
  • Produce duty rosters and manage leave requests
  • Oversee domestic cleaners to monitor attendance and performance
  • Control, monitor and record allocated budgets for security
  • Liaison as required - Ambassador, wife, embassy, nanny etc
  • Implement/update vehicle admin system to ensure servicing, insurance etc
  • Produce / update detailed written security SOPs
  • Health and safety / risk assessments
  • Written reporting
  • Potential short-term cover for CPOs if required
Requirements of the ideal candidate:
  • Military experience with rank of Sergeant or above
  • Security industry experience
  • SIA close protection licence
  • Proven personnel management experience
  • Experience working or managing within a diplomatic or high net worth household
  • Excellent communication skills with fluent written and spoken English.
  • Competent computer skills (particularly Word and Excel).
  • Able to commute daily or as required to Kensington, West London.
Package:
  • Annual gross salary £55 - £58,000 (paid monthly in arrears by PAYE)
  • 4 days per week located at the residence (Kensington), 1 day a week remote from home.
  • 8 hours working days, flexible on timings, 5 days per week, generally Mon - Fri
  • 36 days holiday per year (including UK public holidays)
