Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Housing Options Service Manager to join one of Adeccos leading public sector clients in an interim assignment for the next three to six months, whilst they recruit permanently.Paying a competitive daily rate of up to £400.00 Umbrella, you will need to work from our clients West London office a minimum of three days a week. You will be responsible for assessment, housing allocations, managing the housing register (home point)and offering temporary accommodation and support around homelessness to support vulnerable residents.Our client needs an experienced Service Manager with a strong background in operational management of housing services and support to offer assurance and manage the team. The successful candidate will work with a Head of Housing Options and also will reportthrough to the Director of Homelessness as well as supporting the ongoing review currently being carried out.About you: This role requires you to be an exceptional housing leader within the homelessness sector with enthusiasm about the councils ambition to deliver positive changes and wider corporate agendas. You will be passionate about ensuringthat services are delivered with the best outcomes for residents at its heart.You will have:

  • Senior Management experience within Homelessness and/or Housing Advice, partnerships and the provision of supported housing.
  • Extensive Homelessness legislative knowledge.
  • Experience in working with partners to reduce rough sleeping.
  • Possess exemplary budget management experience.
  • Have managed relationships with members and be able to respond to complex professional or politically sensitive issues.
