Job Description

Position Overview: As the Head of eCommerce, you will play a pivotal role in driving online sales strategy and optimizing the digital presence. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the eCommerce platform, from website managementto customer acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in scaling eCommerce businesses, with expertise in SEO and performance marketing.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive eCommerce strategy to drive sales and maximize profitability.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the eCommerce platform, including website management, product merchandising, and inventory management.
  • Lead a team of eCommerce specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of key initiatives.
  • Drive customer acquisition and retention through targeted marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Optimise website performance through continuous testing and analysis, with a focus on improving user experience and conversion rates.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align eCommerce initiatives with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce management, with a proven track record of success in scaling businesses.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision making.
  • Expertise in SEO, SEM, and other performance marketing channels.
  • Experience working in a startup environment, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a relentless drive to achieve results.
This is a 3 month contract which will pay £600 per day Outside IR35. The role will require being in Hammersmith 4 days a week.
