Job Description

Were looking for an experienced Electronics & Software Design Engineer to join our dynamic group.Would you like to work for a pioneering organisation known for pushing the boundaries of safety technology. Our talented engineering team is on a mission to create groundbreaking solutions in electronics and software design.Electronics & Software Design Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise your 3+ years of experience in electronics design and software development to create innovative solutions.
  • Apply your engineering expertise to design circuits and develop software, seamlessly integrating them into mechanical housings for rigorous testing.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team from initial specification to production, offering clear problem-solving solutions.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on project progress and development testing.
  • Provide support for existing designs and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure designs meet specifications and adhere to industry standards.
Electronics & Software Design Engineer Requirements:
  • A qualified electronics engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of analog circuits and design principles.
  • Proficiency in circuit design, both analog and digital, including microcontrollers.
  • Ability to write and debug code for microcontrollers.
  • Design for ease of manufacture and assembly.
  • Experience with test and instrumentation equipment.
  • Capable of working to project deadlines and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of electronic developments and component formats.
  • Proactive problem-solving attitude.
Electronics & Software Design Engineer Desirable:
  • Experience with software development tools.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of specialised electronics applications used in hazardous locations.
