Job Description

Cyber Security Architect £70,000 - £80,000 plus benefitsLondon / remote hybrid working conditionsISO 27001Azure products - Azure Security. Azure Sentinel etc.Leading professional services company are actively recruiting for an experienced Cyber Security Architect to work alongside a team of Cybersecurity Analysts, Managers, Product Security and Infrastructure teams to define and build the right architectural patternsand security frameworks for internally used products and services.This role is focused on security platform services as opposed to working with a team that are SOC or detect and respond engineers. This is more application and infrastructure security using Microsoft products.This will involve:

  • Design and implement security solutions for workloads hosted in Azure and On-Premise.
  • Develop and maintain Cloud Security policies
  • Conduct security assessments and audits.
  • Work with development teams to ensure that security is integrated into the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance on security best practices for Azure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide technical assurance across IT led projects, including technical design documentation and owning Cybersecurity standards and documentation.
  • Support and contribute to the Cloud CoE (Centre of Excellence) and act as the technical design authority from a Cybersecurity perspective.
  • Work closely with the Product Security Lead and Cybersecurity Analysts to assess and manage technical vulnerabilities in both Digital Products and Infrastructure.
  • Consult with IT and support staff to ensure that security is factored into the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration of new products and services.
  • Report on the implementation of technical controls to support and enforce defined security policies.
The successful Cyber Security Architect will have the following experience:
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity.
  • Experience designing and implementing security solutions for cloud-native workloads on Azure.
  • Experience with Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and other Azure security services.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
