Our strategy includes the 3 key pillars of Climate, Culture and Community, which are underpinned by 9 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) against which we measure our broader ESG performance.We intend to be Net Zero by 2040, including zero emissions within Scope 1 & 2 by 2030.We are recruiting for an Analyst to support our Europe and Middle East ESG Reporting Manager to deliver and report performance of the ESG strategic plans and initiatives. You will be responsible for data collation, analysis and the preparation of professionalreporting for various audiences including senior management and plc. But it’s not only about data, it’s about engaging with colleagues and developing relationships across the regional office and our countries. You will also have the chance to identify andproject manage workstreams to improve our ESG credentials.The successful candidate will be comfortable working as part of a team and under their own initiative. They should have demonstrable background with data analysis and reporting, stakeholder engagement, and day-to-day project and time management. The candidateshould also have some knowledge of corporate sustainability and wider environmental, social and governance issues.Key Responsibilities• Identify, design and implement data improvements and reporting tools/templates and to measure and track all ESG objectives, work closely with plc to input into and support the roll-out of any new data processes and systems • Prepare reporting to plc and other business stakeholders to include Net Zero, UN SDG objectives and targets, and regulatory compliance • Develop engaging communications for a range of audiences and work with teams across the organisation to ensure we are effective in promoting our ESG and D&I strategy and achievements• Play a key role in ESG working groups by preparing agendas, driving discussion, preparation of minutes and agreed actions• Identify good practice and resources from across the business and knowledge share across EME to promote continuous learning and education• Provide guidance and support to countries with their development of specific ESG priorities, such as the creation of Net Zero pathways• Identify opportunities for collaboration on corporate ESG projects with plc, countries and other parts of the business• From time-to-time, provide support to the wider SOH team, for example through the creation of professional-looking presentations and templates for use within the team• Ongoing professional developmentof knowledge and understanding of corporate sustainability for the post-holderKey Skills• A highly motivated individual, who is a good team player but also work on their own and use their own initiative• Holds a Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline or is working towards a relevant professional membership, e.g. IEMA• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a meticulous eye for data and attention to detail• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal• IT literate, high level of Excel and PowerPoint competence, with experience in producing quality presentations and reports• Knowledge of corporate sustainability and ESG and emerging challenges, and knowledge of applying this at within the property sector• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage and prioritise their task list and able to remain calm under pressure• Good at managing expectations and keeping people informed• Patient, but determined, with energy, and positivity and a “role your sleeves up” attitude• Excellent client care and stakeholder management skillsTeamOverviewThe position sits within Savills Overseas Holding (SOH), a central team that supports EME. It is made up of 16 employees, led by the EME CFO and EME COO, supported by Executive Assistant to CFO & COO, ESG Reporting Manager, Acquisitions & Operational RiskDirector, Finance team (8), HR Manager, Risk & Compliance (2).
