We are currently working a large secondary school in Ealing who are looking for an experienced, qualified Art teacher to join their teaching staff from April to cover a permanent member of staffs maternity leaveThe RoleIn this role you will be teaching Art across KS3 And KS4 and will be part of the schools Art department. The students follow the AQA syllabus at both GCSE and A-Level so previous experience of this exam board is preferred although not essential. You willwork closely with the head of Art and the other teachers within the department. You may be required to cover some photography classes within your timetable.This role is to start in April 2024 and is offered on a 1 year contract basis until April 2025.The School This high achieving Church of England academy is based in Ealing and offers a broad and extended curriculum for pupils from 11 – 18 years. Rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted the school benefits from a newly built school site including bright and spacious learningspaces and state of the art facilities. The school specialises in digital learning and encourages all students to reach their potential in a modern and inspiring framework. Although a comprehensive school, students study an academic, Grammar school curriculummodel with a focus on the core subjects in the morning curriculum with longer lessons in the creative subjects in the afternoon.The school has an excellent leadership team in place and benefits from the wider academy group to provide collaborative opportunities for staff to work together and learn from each other.We have a policy to respond to all applications within three working days.
