With my client being in full operation throughout COVID they are full of stability and job security.Client:My client has over 650 vehicles and employees within the UK and is growing at a record pace. They are a market leader that provides a tailored reinstatement service to major clients, mainly in the Gas, Water and Power Networks Utility Sectors.Their reputation is widely known for innovation, reliability and enthusiasm while incident and injury free in all of their Health and Safety endeavours. Always acting with honesty, trust, integrity and trade ethically.Role:You will be responsible for -

Working within their Civils and Surfacing division.

Working on a range of different large civil engineering and surfacing projects within the public and private sectors.

80% of the work involving estimating and the remaining 20% commercial management and business development.

Working with Senior Managers and Directors.

Ensuring commercial processes are in place.

Having experience within the civil engineering / groundworks / drainage / section would be beneficial

Have knowledge of construction working methods, contracts, and subcontract arrangement

Commercial administration/management of live projects or pre-implementation phase.

Management and control of sub-contract accounts and variation accounts.

Be a clear communicator and a team player.

To build relationships with existing and potential new customers.

To support other members of the team.

Attend project and company related meetings.

To undertake any other reasonable duties.

Candidate:

An experienced estimator looking for the next step in their career.

Estimating experience within the civil engineering sector. (beneficial)

Being capable of self-time management.

An understanding of Civil Engineering and Highways measurement principles

An understanding of general IT systems (Microsoft Office suite, Excel).

Knowledge and / or experience of working within the construction industry.
