Year 1 Teaching AssistantAre you experienced working with children Are you looking for a new school experience Are you looking for a fulfilling roleTeaching Personnel are exclusively retained with a mainstream Primary school in West Derby, L12 who are looking for a positive & motivated Teaching Assistant to join their bubbly Year 1 classroom. This role is set to begin during the May term and will rununtil the end of the school year. Ideal candidates would have previous experience with RWI Phonics scheme, the Year 1 Phonics Screening Assessment and generally working in KS1, although EYFS/KS2 is acceptable. Candidates should be committed to providing excellentlearning opportunities for children, feel confident supporting the class teacher and be passionate about ensuring the welfare and happiness of children.The role:

Full time, Monday-Friday
Hours approximately 8:30am-3:30pm
KS1 Teaching Assistant
£11.77-£13 per hour
West Derby area

Responsibilities:

Promoting a positive learning environment, adapting to all childens individual learning needs
Supporting the class teacher with assigned tasks (photocopying, creating displays, setting up lessons etc)
Ensuring good behaviour management
Providing 1-1 support for individual pupils
Delivering activities on 1-1 or small group basis such as guided reading or phonics
