Job Description

Summary In April 2015 a huge blaze gutted the house at Clandon Park, leaving it open to the skies. Our project seeks to bring the house back into use, creating a place to explore the history and making of a great houseyou can find out more here.Were looking for a project manager to join our team to deliver one of the biggest heritage projects the National Trust has ever tackled, and were bold and creative in our approach.Youll play a significant role in coordinating the planning and delivery of non-construction elements of the project including visitor experience, commercial and collections. What youll be doing

  • Managing the coordinated delivery of the programme for non-construction elements and ensuring integration with the construction programme
  • Budget responsibility for elements of the non-construction programme
  • Financial and contract management
  • Procuring and managing specialist external consultants and contractors
  • Inputting to client design reviews
  • Production of reports for Clandon Project Board

  • Enthusiasm for developing areas of knowledge and expertise to apply to the project including in relation to conservation and construction
  • Experience of successfully delivering complex end to end project/programme management, including defining resources, leading procurement securing project teams and matrix management across multiple projects/programmes
  • A recognised project (AMP PMQ/Prince) or programme management (MSP) qualification
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD in your career to date
  • Excellent problem solving and influencing skills, able to confidently work with senior leaders
  • Experience of managing complex and difficult external stakeholder relationships
