Job Description

The Senior Bid Manager is responsible for developing and submitting completed bids to both existing and prospective customers on time and to the highest standard. You will ensure that all the clients questions have been answered, reflect the agreed bidstrategy, the proposed operational solution, and the customers requirementsgiving our client the best possible chance of success.A key member of the team, you will lead all day-to-day aspects of the submission. You will will manage, write and produce winning bids through pre-SQ phase to mobilisation . This is highly collaborative role that requires an ability to work under pressureand to challenging deadlines. This role will act as the Group Bid Directors number 2, supporting her inYou will work on a range of bids mainly to public sector customers across our clients portfolio. The total contract values are typically between £250 to £5m.What you will bring to the team:Youll be an experienced bid writer or manager with the ability to drive the strategic and creative direction of responses. You will also have:

  • 5+ years in a bid management, bid writer or bid specialist role.
  • Proven capability of managing public sector bids and tenders
  • Self-motivated and able to work to strict time deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail; maintaining high standards of accuracy
  • Confident and articulate in all communications, for example, face to face, telephone, and written communications
  • Advanced skills in MS office software especially MS Excel.
  • APMP membership/practitioner level experience
  • PRINCE 11 qualifications or the knowledge of project management.
