OVERVIEW:Are you looking to work in a cooperative and trusting environment where everyone is treated equally, if so then this may be the HR Manager/Senior HR Administrator position for you.A chance to work for a genuine business (SME) in the transport sector based in West Bromwich, our client is looking for a hands on and organised Senior HR administrator to head up this important area of the business.This would suit someone with HR administration experience and looking to take on a little more responsibilityWorking Mon-Fri 9.00-5.00pm (1 hour for lunch), 20 days holiday + 8 stats and, on-site parkingSalary £25-28K dependant on experienceTHE ROLE:* Support all stages of the recruitment and selection process* Support line managers in the absence management process* Production of weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc KPI reports* * Support the Directors in reducing employee turnover by ensuring that the following take place in a timely manner;-Departmental and company inductions-Probationary reviews-Performance management-Appraisals-Exit interviews* Maintain employee records * Act as a minute taker in meetings, hearings, and interviews* Provide first level advice on internal HR policies and procedures, escalating issues to the supporting HR/Legal Company that is currently outsourced. * Ad-hoc reporting and administrative tasks as requestedTHE CANDIDATE:* Previous experience in a generalist HR Administrator or Administrator role within a busy office environment* An understanding of the importance of following policy and procedure and discretion and confidential matters* The ability to manage volumes of work to a high degree of accuracy* The ability to plan and prioritise your work load, ensuring that deadlines are met along with ad-hoc tasks* Excellent communication skills, approachable, and diligent* Proficient user of Microsoft Office Required skills
