* Manufacturing Engineer* West Brom* £40-45kManufacturing EngineerWest Bromwich£40-45kMon-Fri Day ShiftsWe are excited to be recruiting for a modern OEM Tier 1 supplier based in West Bromwich. This is a well-established company that is currently working on some exciting flagship projects in the luxury car industryAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will analyse current practices and develop business process improvements as well as implement changes in workflows, structures, and teams to ensure continuous company performanceYour day to day as a Manufacturing Engineer will involve: * Establish current situation with regards to OEE within the finishing processes.* Provide leadership in running OEE activities to improve current performance.* Calculate current and future capacity demands for the finishing processes.* Lead current and future projects within the finishing processes. For example, the introduction of new processes.* Develop project plans for new product introduction to ensure the finishing processes are ready to produce the required demand on time and to the correct quality standard.* Ensure all process documentation has been completed including PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flows and SOPs* Support operations in the creation of training plans to train operators, maintenance, and technical staff in the finishing processes.* Help and support the development of the finishing processes to meet current and future demand for forged parts.* Work with process and equipment suppliers to promote and enhance the current finishing processesWe want to hear from you if you have any of the following skills: * Technical support experience in high value end to end manufacturing environments* Minimum HND qualification in a relevant engineering discipline* Working knowledge of operating within an environment accredited to TS16949 & ISO14001 standards* Confidence as an engineer to proactively engage with internal or external stakeholders
