Job Description

My client based in the South of Nottingham City Centre are looking to recruit an experienced (five years plus is desirable) Senior Financial Services Administrator.My client can offer a very competitive salary of up to £26,000.00 (negotiable) + annual bonus (discretionary). You will draft basic suitability reports and ideally have experience using X Plan and Morning Star (desirable).Hours of work (35 hours) are 8-4 or 9-5 and finishing at 4 every Friday.Role details

  • You will provide advanced business support to a Senior Director, working within the agreed business objectives
  • You will maintain the highest possible ethical and professional standards at all times
  • You will coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations
  • You will provide accurate information to the management team when requested
  • Role Responsibilities
  • You will be proactive within this varied role, and able to multi-task whilst providing research, client valuations and processing new business
  • A high level of organisation skills required around general financial services administration
  • You will compile suitability reports from structured templates
  • You will prepare research, agendas and paperwork for client review meetings
  • You will be responsible for following process and procedures for both yourself and the Director
  • You will act as a liaison point for clients and providers
  • You will maintain and update client information, preferably within Xplan and AWSMorningstar
  • You will assist the Managing Director and Practice Manager with operational projects where requested
  • You will pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role
  • Skills required
  • You will be organised - capable of dealing with several tasks in parallel and being able to work on your own initiative
  • You must be numerate - have good analytical skills
  • You will have an excellent standard of written & verbal communication
  • You will have the ability to empathise and build strong business relationships with our clients, other team members and strategic partners
  • Attention to detail is paramount
  • You will be proactive, with the ability to multi-task and possess the ability to search out solutions
  • Ability to interpret data and produce recommendations with supporting evidence
  • Qualifications/knowledge/experience
  • You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Outlook
  • You will preferably have previously worked with Senior Management
  • You will have experience within financial report writing
  • Any professional qualifications are an advantage such as R01, R02etc.
