Job Description

I am supporting a creative digital agency looking to recruit an experienced Front-End Developer to join their expanding creative team. Located at their new head office in West Bridgford, this is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for fresh challenges, new varied projects and a great team to work with.You will be responsible for the build, development, testing and launching of website projects, working closely with the rest of the team to ensure every stage is successfully implemented.Excellent communication is essential including an eye for detail and knowledge of current web trends. You will have excellent all-round Front-End technical skills with a sound knowledge of resolving a range of related issues. As well as the required technical skills we are looking for a strong knowledge of UX and a least an understanding of on-page SEO principles.Your main responsibilities:

  • Building detailed custom designed websites
  • Working with designers, developers and our digital team over the lifetime of new and existing projects
  • Looking at and improving on our web project processes and build methods
  • Supporting the team on any website technical issues
  • Server Backups and resolving issues
  • Communicating with clients on projects
  • Project management
    • The technical skills:
  • HTML / CSS / SASS / Bootstrap
  • jQuery & JavaScript
  • WordPress including Advanced Custom Fields
  • PHP
  • Working from designs in Adobe software
  • UX Development
  • Hosting set ups
  • Custom grid systems
  • Server Management
  • Familiarity with cross-browsers on multiple devices
    • Desirable:
  • Version Control using GIT
  • Principles of SEO
  • WooCommerce
