Job Description

BRN Recruitment are looking for a Waste Collection Driver to work for the local authority in Vale of Glamorgan.Duties:Your main duties will involve driving HGV vehicles collecting refuse and partaking in recycling duties, which includes emptying bins and loading skips when needed. You will adhere to all Health and Safety regulations whilst displaying a polite and professional demeanour to the public.Experience:

  • It is essential to hold a valid Class 2 HGV licence.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience driving HGV vehicles.
  • Due to the nature of the position, you may be required to load at times, it is therefore essential that the successful candidate be able to manage lifting and moving of heavy bins.
  • Due to the customer facing environment you need to be polite, and helpful when conversing with members of the public.
