Job Description

Customer Service AdvisorYolk Recruitment are excited to be closely working with the UKs leading construction materials group to find a friendly and driven customer service advisor to join their team in Wenvoe on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.They operate in over 350 locations across Great Britain and Ireland and produce essential materials that make a fundamental different to everyday people.This is what youll be doingThis is an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to join an energetic and busy Construction company based on the outskirts of Cardiff on a 12-month fixed term contract, with excellent opportunities for the role to become permanent. You willwork within the customer service team and closely with customer sales/orders and enquiries for building products. You will also:

  • Respond to customers enquiries, queries and complaints in an efficient and professional manner
  • Plan and track orders to completion
  • Schedule and reschedule orders whilst utilising haulage fleet effectively
  • Compile and maintain accurate records as required
  • Communicate effectively with commercial and production teams and also haulage partners
  • Proactively manage old debt recovery though query programme
  • Identify and contribute to managing your own personal development in collaboration with your line manager
  • To assist internal sales during busy / holiday periods by inputting and maintaining digital quotations
The experience youll bring to the teamAs a friendly customer service advisor, youll need to have experience working in a customer service environment, alongside being:
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service to all customers.
  • Empathetic and understanding about emotions and situations.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Driven and motivated to achieve and beat targets and objectives.
  • Friendly and supportive to both other team members and customers.
And this is what youll get in returnAs a customer service advisor, you will receive a salary between £23,000 - £26,000 a year depending on experience, alongside:
