Job Description

Trainee Calibration EngineerA new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Calibration Engineer to join an excellent company in the Somerset area. If you are a mechanically minded individual looking for a role in engineering, this is the job for you.With no day ever being the same the Trainee Calibration Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class Engineering environment.Role & Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate mechanical measuring instrumentation. Eg. Verniers, calipers, thread gauges ect.
  • Ensure Tooling and fixture dimensions are accurate
  • Accurately record all results
  • Adhere to company H&S regulations
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Ideally Mechanical Engineering or related subject at A-Level
  • Willingness to learn
  • Strong communicator and team player
Package and Benefits:
  • £20,000 - £25,000
  • Monday - Friday Days.
