Job Description

Warehouse Manager - Wellingborough: Fire and SecurityOur client is a specialist business in Fire and Security; they are looking to grow their team with the appointment of an experienced Stores ManagerIs responsible for managing warehouse and ensuring all duties are completed in the time-frames set out by the General Manager. You will be responsible for the following,

  • Arrange Stock Transfers from all stores (stores to engineers)
  • Keep warehouse tidy and general housekeeping.
  • Supplier Management
  • Delivery Management
  • Issue Purchase Orders
  • Supplier sourcing
  • Manage van stock orders for Engineers
  • Unload deliveries received into the warehouse.
  • Regular stock-take
  • Produce Stock-takes for any parts where issues have been identified.
  • Pick, pack and distribute fire Extinguishers.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in using warehouse management software and MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting
  • Must be able to problem solve and work under pressure.
  • Full Drivers Licence.
  • A counterbalance forklift license would be an advantage, however we can arrange training for the right candidate.
