Job Description

ROLE: Quality Manager LOCATION: Wellingborough HOURS OF WORK: Days BASIC SALARY: Up to £55K Company ProfileOur client is seeking a Quality Manager to join their organisation based in Northamptonshire on a permanent basis to oversee all aspects of Quality within their manufacturing, fabrication, and engineering facilities. Youll be well versed in industry standards;you will help drive the company forward in meeting its commitments as outlined in existing and future contracts.In this Quality Manager role, you will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with customers and gathering feedback
  • Understanding customer expectations and needs from product
  • Monitoring and evaluating production processes
  • Monitoring standards of production
  • Rejecting products that do not meet requirements
  • Generate statistical reports on quality standards
  • Report to Stakeholders on quality standard issues and customer complaints
  • Analyse and evaluate any product return or rejects
  • Develop and maintain any corrective actions from any return or rejects
To be successful as a Quality Manager:
  • Demonstrate competencies in Quality Management through experience and training.
  • Be confident and familiar in the use of industry standard Quality tools such as PPAP, APQP, FMEA and MSA
  • Show effective management and maintenance of relevant ISO Quality systems such as ISO9001:2015 and welding standards such as ISO3834.
  • Understand and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be a strong motivator
  • Be proficient in Office based software
  • Have excellent attention to detail, be thorough and organized
