Job Description

Weston College Group has secured a long-term education contract at HMP Five Wells located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. We are seeking to recruit an outstanding and highly motivated Lecturer in Construction to join our team in Education.This role is full time, working 37 hours per week.Day to day duties of the role

To deliver a high-quality curriculum delivering Construction courses

Organisational and administrative work.

Preparation, assessment and marking.

Developing and maintaining a full course file including comprehensive scheme of learning and lesson planning.

Required skills and qualifications

A Degree, or professional qualification, which is appropriate to the work. In relation to vocational teaching posts an appropriate qualification in that field will be deemed satisfactory.

Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.

Excellent team working, communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent computer literacy skills including an up to date knowledge of Microsoft Office.
