Job Description

Paint Polisher required for a composites manufacturer based in Wellingborough. The purpose of this role is to support the Paint Manager and the Paint-Shop in the day-to[1]day running of the department. Ensuring that you are working to the highest standardsand that we meet/exceed customer expectations.Paint Polisher - Composites Position OverviewExterior polishing of parts, ensuring you are using the correct material and tools.

  • Ensuring finished parts do not have defects before shipping forward.
  • Adhere to all requirements for hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal.
  • Follow work instructions.
Paint Polisher - Composites Position RequirementsTaking out any imperfections in the paint.
  • Flatting, polishing and the touching up of parts.
  • Confident in using all the necessary tools and equipment to achieve a polished part.
Previous carbon fibre experience preferred.
  • Experience in a high-pressured/fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the Automotive or Motorsport industry.
  • Able to work to deadlines.
  • Can follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Works well within a team and independently.
  • Extremely detail orientated.
  • Strong communication skills.

  • £13p/h-£16p/h wage
