Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join a global and market leading logistics company as a Network Transport Planner in Wellingborough, working 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with a salary of £30,000 per year. The role will involve planning for the network and schedulingdeliveries/trunking in a cost effective manner, whilst adhering to KPIs and targets.Client DetailsA world leader in providing cutting-edge logistics for multinational companies, offering contract based storage and distribution solutions across various sectors.DescriptionThe role of Network Transport Planner in Wellingborough will involve:

  • Using Paragon planning software to plan cost effective transport schedules.
  • Accounting for peak period planning to ensure correct resourcing.
  • Aligning costs and budget.
  • Analysing KPIs and compare to budget.
  • Maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders internal and external.
ProfileThe successful Network Transport Planner in Wellingborough will have:
  • Experience transport planning using Paragon.
  • The ability to implement and react to changes.
  • Excellent team working skills - collaboration, influencing, communication.
  • Analytical ability with good numeracy and literacy.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Good IT skills, particularly Excel.
  • A working knowledge of Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
