Job Description

Job Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Overtime (£45,000 OTE) Hours: Monday - Friday 07.00 - 15.30, Friday 07.00 - 13.00 Location: Wellingborough, NorthamptonshireThe Package:

  • 33 days holiday (Including Bank Holiday)
  • Frequent Overtime Available - First 5 hour time& anything over double time.

The role:
  • Carry out mechanical maintenance on plant machinery, equipment & facilities
  • Fault finding & rectification on a variety of manufacturing machinery
  • Schedule & Plan activities to meet timescales & targets
  • Occasional Business Trips abroad
  • Work alongside improvements team to ensure maximum output from machinery & production.
The person:
  • City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent in mechanical / electrical engineering (Preferred)
  • Previous mechanical machine maintenance - 2 years (essential)
  • Willingness to work alone or as part of a team
  • HNC/ONC Certificates - or ability to work towards #
  • Multiskilled understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC or PLC
  • Understanding of Siemans, Mitsubishi or B&R Controls
