Role: Mechanical Fitter Salary: £25,000-£27,000 (£13-£14 per hour) Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire Hours: Monday - Friday days only - 37.5 hours per week Job Type: Full time, Permanent The Client: Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established materials handling firm based in Wellingborough on their search for a mechanical bench fitter to join their growing team. Our client has been providing materials handling solutions to the PlasticsProcessing, Pharmaceutical, Food and Water Treatment industries for over 50 years and they are now looking to welcome someone mechanically skilled to the team. The Package: · Salary between £25,000-£27,000 dependent on experience · 25 days holiday + bank holiday · 3 days taken for Christmas shutdown · Health Care Plan after 3 month probationary period has been passed · Training & Development surrounding electrical & mechanical capabilities - some offsite courses · Company pension scheme The Role: · Carry out the mechanical assembly and detailed fitting of special purpose machinery. · Construct assemblies from engineering drawings. · You will use a variety of hand tools to assemble parts · You will work with other members of the assembly team · There will be electrical aspects to the role - training will be offered for this The Requirements: · Must have mechanical capabilities (essential) · Previous experience as a bench mechanical fitter (advantageous) · Electrical knowledge (advantageous) · Relevant qualifications (NVQ/HND/HNC/City & Guilds etc) - advantageous · Team player · Driven and motivated Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
