Job role: Maintenance Engineer Salary: £30,000-£35,000 DOE Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire Hours: 8:00-16:00 Monday to Friday Job Type: Full Time, Permanent The Company: Interaction Technical have partnered with a growing, market leading Powder Coating firm based in Wellingborough on their search for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. Our client is a specialist powder coater for an array of industries includingthe Residential, Commercial, Rail, Retail and the Public industries and after a period of year on year growth, they are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer to run the site and ensure the plant is running as smoothly as possible. The Benefits · Salary between £30,000-£35,000 dependent on experience · Overtime paid at time ½, double time on Sundays · 28 days holiday including bank holidays · Pension Scheme · Quarterly Bonus Scheme · Sole engineer on site, given full autonomy · Joining a growing company The Role · Carry out Preventative Planned Maintenance and reactive breakdowns within stipulated timescales to minimise production downtime. · Carry out general building and plant maintenance including minor repairs, fixtures, fittings and lighting · Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner · Carry out both mechanical and electrical fault finding to diagnose potential issues or problems. · Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns · Carry out all work according to company procedures and Health & Safety Policies The Requirements · Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment (essential) · Multi-skilled Electromechanical Engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias (essential) · Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic capabilities (essential) · Previous experience working within a Heavy Industrial environment (advantageous) · Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - Advantageous · Knowledge of PLC systems (advantageous) · Full UK Driving License required Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
