Job Description

The role of Logistics Coordinator in Wellingborough involves monitoring operations, customer service and problem solving within the transport team, monitoring inbound operations and inventory. This role benefits from an excellent salary of up to £33,000per year with a bonus of up to 20% (performance based).Client DetailsThis is the logistics function and part of a global leading multinational electronics group, based in their Wellingborough site, offering an entire logistics process management solution.DescriptionThe role of Logistics Coordinator in Wellingborough will involve:

  • Monitoring the inbound schedule.
  • Conduct customs clearance cost checks and verifications.
  • Report daily inventory levels.
  • Co-ordinate returns.
  • Assist with outbound orders for domestic and international shipments
  • Conduct daily outbound tracking report.
  • Verification of operational costs.
  • Weekly reporting.
  • Projects involvement.
ProfileThe successful Logistics Coordinator will have:
  • Previous Inventory Management Skills
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills and ERP knowledge.
  • Confidence in communicating ideas.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach with a pro-active attitude.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
