Job Description

Do you Excel at all things computer relatedCan you confidently say, "Have you tried turning it off and on again"Excuse the corny puns, but I guess you could say were "Phishing" for our next IT superstar!Our IT band of one (Shout out to Colin - our IT saviour!), is looking to add to his team, and is looking for someone with drive and ambition to support his development plans of our entire IT infrastructure.If you have some prior IT support experience, have recently finished college/university, or if you are an existing IT Support Assistant who is looking for progression, we would love to hear from you!As well as keeping us all online, you will be responsible for supporting our head of IT in implementing various improvements to our infrastructure.We have circa 90 computer users spread across two sites (literally across the road from each other), which you will be required to maintain, and keep in good working order.As well as fault-fixing and maintenance, you may also be required to help move equipment across site during office moves etc, as part of this IT Support Assistant position.We welcome applications for this IT Support Assistant position from candidates with experience in IT, IT support, 1st line support, or previous experience as an IT Support Assistant.Essential SkillsWe are more than happy to provide all of the necessary training and support for the successful applicant to this role, but if were being picky there are a few things we would like:

  • Knowledge of computer systems, processes, and fault-finding experience
  • Previous general IT support experience
  • The ability to manage own workload, and be proactive in delivering problem-solving initiatives
  • Patience! (Were a needy bunch!)
