Job Description

This Wellingborough based organisation is looking for a proactive HR professional to take the next step in their career as HR Business Partner and help build and develop the Company People strategy. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Administration you will be working together to establish the HR Southern division with support from an external HR consultant and the Head office HR North division.This is an exciting and challenging HR career opportunity, offering a role that allows you to make a real difference and impact the future of the business from a people and culture perspective.Key aspects of the role

  • Partner with departments with both employee and managerial and supervisory levels to build successful relationships.
  • Champion employee engagement throughout the business and within business partner areas.
  • Maintain employee personnel and training records, archiving in line with GDPR, issuing ID clock cards/fobs.
  • Assist with the co-ordination of external and in-house training courses.
  • Assist with writing, controlling, and issuing work instructions in conjunction with other departments.
  • Updating and maintaining company handbook, new starter induction packs and training overview plans
  • Develop, maintain, and facilitate a proactive succession planning strategy throughout the business.
  • Assist departments with recruitment planning.
  • Ensure all roles have current job descriptions and support the updating and development of new JDs
  • Conducting exit interviews to monitor department people management.
  • Statistic reporting to ensure information led decision making.
  • Creating and ensuring employee experience matches company values - from onboarding to exit.
  • Establishing, then management, delivery, and feedback of employee surveys
  • Maintain ongoing induction audit reviews.
  • Ensure reward and recognition activities/events/initiatives are delivered throughout the business.
  • Maintain proactive knowledge of changes to employment practices and legislative requirements.
  • Co-ordinate any external and in-house learning events.
  • Support the delivery of internal apprenticeships and assist in apprentice mentoring.
Applicants must have previous HR experience ideally in a similar stand-alone role and ideally experience of working within a manufacturing/production environment.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is important as well as demonstrable skills in HR processes administrative tasks to include data protection.If you are a flexible, communicative, and positive individual who consistently exhibits a professional attitude and strives for excellence whilst demonstrating a "values" led approach, then this could be the perfect career move for you.This is a permanent role paying £33,000 - £35,000 plus benefits and would suit someone who is driven and ambitious.
