Job Description

I am working with a well-established Domiciliary Care service in Wellingborough who are looking for a Head of People to work closely alongside all staff members across 2 nearby branches.The Role:

  • A key part of the role as the Head of People will be to market the new branch across Northamptonshire
  • Improve recruitment and staff retention
  • Provide training to care staff
  • Develop strong relationships when networking and hosting events
Candidate Attributes:
  • Approachable person who can gain the respect of colleagues
  • Able to manage the culture of the branch where needed
  • Keeps all members of staff informed of how to improve performance
Head of People Duties:
  • Identifying new business development opportunities via networking
  • Managing recruitment and staff retention in line with the company’s service demand and growth
  • Overseeing care staff performance
  • Training all care staff on how to implement care plans and provide ongoing supervision and support
  • Scheduling working hours for care staff
  • Arranging quarterly events to boost awareness of the branch to attract care staff/clients
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experienced working in a similar role, e.g. Care Coordinator
  • Experienced networking to grow awareness
  • Experienced in rostering
Company Benefits:
  • Salary of £30,000
  • 28 days annual leave
