About the roleWe arerecruiting for a Head of Online Operations, which is a new role, to be based at our Wellingborough Head Office. There will be some remote working available.This is akey leadership role responsible for Driving and managing day to day operations and online presence, within our Digital team. Youll be working in partnership with Product to ensure full execution of the digital strategy.Youll also support the Digital Director to lead the strategic development of online (optimisation of engagement, acquisition, retention and strategy for range, fulfilment and media income).This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce, digital marketing, and user experience, with a focus on driving online success and growthRole ResponsibilityStrategy Execution: Delivering the Vision and Strategy for the online channel.Operational Management: Manage all aspects of the online operations, including maintenance, customer service and fulfilment.Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as customer marketing, IT, product management to ensure seamless online operations and alignment with company goals.Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing online operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.Revenue Generation: Effectively Execute strategies to drive online sales growth, increase customer acquisition and retention, and optimize the online customer journey.Media Income: Manage the execution of media campaigns with key suppliers in conjunction with Product function.Performance Analysis: Monitor and share with stakeholders key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of online operations, make data-driven decisions for future developments and identify areas for improvement by working closely with Product team,Insights and Analytics, Customer Teams and other central business functions.Risk Management: Identify and address potential risks and issues related to online operations, such as legal compliance, and data privacy. Adhering to all Booker policies, storage and handover protocols and successfully completing all my training so thatthere are zero GSCOP breaches. Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligenceTechnology Optimization: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in online technologies, recommending and implementing appropriate tools and solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.Forecasting and managing budgets effectively, always being cost conscious.You will needThe Head of Online Operations plays a pivotal role in driving Bookers online growth and ensuring a seamless online experience for customers. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational expertise and a passion for deliveringexceptional online services. Specifically, we are looking for someone with the following:Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of successfully managing multi faceted online operations in a fast-paced environment.
