You will have the chance to develop your career with us and grow intoa more senior role within and international organisation.As a standard, we will: Value your opinion and give you the autonomy to maximise the role Offer you a direct dotted line to our Finance Director Welcome you into a small but passionate teamJOB DESCRIPTION: Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant, Financial Controller - Plastics / Packaging, Manufacturer / DistributorReporting to our Finance Director, you will be responsible for working and liaising with the overseas subsidiaries and will help provide a link between the group HQ and the local teams. The role forms a critical part of group consolidation, monthly reporting,cash flow forecasting, working capital management & financial processes and controls.You will be responsible for compiling and verifying overseas management accounts at month endP&L, balance sheet and cash flow.You will also: Upload all overseas accounts into group templates. Collate gross margin reports for each subsidiaryhighlights and lowlights Prepare and review each subsidiary progress on strategic initiatives. Manage group inventory and debtor policies Identify any potential cost saving opportunities. Assist with the roll out of a new ERP system (Sage X3) across 5 countries.PERSON SPECIFICATION:Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant, Financial Controller - Plastics / Packaging, Manufacturer / DistributorUltimately, you will already demonstrate a proven track record in an accountancy position for an SME business (circa £15m-£25m t/o ideally).As well as this, you will also have: A recognised financial qualification, ideally CIMA, ACCA, or ACA. An understanding of business through financial results to provide analysis to management and operations to demonstrate issues and opportunities faced by the business. The ability to manage workload and work independently to meet wider team/group deadlines and requirements. The confidence and accuracy to review and reconcile work of other team members and provide training where required. Experience of different financial systems and ideally ERP implementations.
