Job Description

They love digital and cloud accounting and were the first accountancy firm in the world to receive a Xero migration certification.Their 5-star ratings are a result of the strong relationships, satisfaction and trust they have built with their clients.They are an authorised training office for the ACCA and ACA leading to professional qualifications and provide professional development training such as communication and presentation skills to support you as your career progresses.As a Semi Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Client Managers and Senior Accountants with looking after the day-to-day compliance aspects for a client.
  • Dealing with the accounting and tax requirements for SMEs.
  • Assisting in the training of more junior accounts staff, including appraisal of their work.
The firm are keen to make the most of modern technology and this is reflected in the internal working practices and how they work with clients.We are really keen to speak to anyone about this Semi Senior Accountant role who has any of the following skills and experiences:
  • Previous experience as a Semi-Senior Accountant within practice.
  • AAT qualified and either ACCA / ACA studier.
  • Excellent IT skills including being a competent Excel user and working knowledge of SAGE, Xero and/or QuickBooks.
The firm appreciate that not everyone will have full accounts and tax experience and therefore they will provide training so that you can develop in new areas and become a more rounded accountant.In return you will receive a salary of £33,000 - £39,000 pa dependent on experience, excellent profit-sharing bonus scheme and comprehensive employee benefits package.
