Job Description

Role: Primary TeacherLocation: Bexley/WellingStart Date: September 2023Salary: £32,407 - £48,055 per annumType: Permanent, full-timeTimePlan Education is working alongside a popular and friendly Bexley primary school seeking a year 2 teacher to start in September. This Ofsted rated good school is home to engaged pupils who enjoy attending school and a very supportive staff cohort.The school located in the heart of Bexley and has 4 forms of entry. The school is ideally seeking a teacher with at least a year of experience however, they will consider a competent ECT with a proven track record. The school is also open to welcoming teachersfrom overseas - in particular New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the United States.The Primary Teacher Role:

  • Teaching Year 2
  • Full teaching responsibilities including planning, delivery and assessment
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of individual learners
  • Working as part of a wider KS1 phase supporting each other with planning and assessment
Required Skills and Qualifications for the Primary Teacher Role:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching KS1 or lower KS2 (this can include teaching practicums)
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • The ability to inspire and motivate pupils
