Management Accountant

Job Description

Job PurposeReporting to the Financial Controller, we have an opportunity for a driven, self-motivated, personable and passionate part or fully qualified Management Accountant to grow with us on our journey.As a Management Accountant, you will work closely with key stakeholders preparing and analysing financial information to assist management with planning and decision making across the business.Using your excellent communication skills, the post holder must be resourceful, have strong personal motivational skills and be a relationship builder; incorporating a ‘can do’ approach with the determination to succeed and have the aptitude to react quickly to given situations with excellent attention to detail. The capacity to interact at all levels with the willingness to be flexible is essential to success in this role.A working knowledge of Xero and Salesforce would be desirable.Principal Accountabilities:• Production of Monthly Management Accounts• Prepayments and Accruals• Cashflow Forecasting• Submission of Group Vat Return• Assist with the production of Board Packs and Supporting Analytical Information• Assist with the preparing of Company Budgets and Forecasts.• Project WorkSkills and Qualification Requirements• Studying or have a professional accountancy qualification. (study packages will be considered) .• Strong attention to detail• Ability to work under pressure and set deadlines.• Strong financial knowledge ideally including experience of group accounts and consolidations.• Analytical Skills• IT literate and proficient with Microsoft Excel• Good Communication SkillsAbout Utility Bidder:Utility Bidder Ltd is one of the fastest growing energy brokerswithin the UK, working with small and medium sized businesses nationwide.
