Job Description

Job Title: Supply Chain Operations ManagerLocation: WatfordSalary: £60,000What to know about this employer: This business is the UKs market leader in their field A multi award winning company that continue to develop year on year Customer centric business who foster a sense of communityPurpose of the role: Running a seamless supply chain operation overseeing Customer service, Purchasing, Warehouse and Logistics Develop strategy to drive improvement across all areas of the supply chain functionDay to Day responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the timely, efficient and accurate transfer of goods from manufacturing points and suppliers through to customers,
  • Regularly review or update supply chain practices and processes to support business strategy
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure availability of materials and inventory levels are optimised
  • Define suitable metrics for measurement and evaluation of the supply chain function to reduce cost and waste whilst maintaining SLAs / KPIs
  • To have an excellent understanding of shipping (import/export) documentation, tariffs and legal requirements.
  • To have a thorough working knowledge of the ERP, warehouse management and BI systems.
  • Lead and motivate the Procurement, Warehouse and Customer service team to build effective relationships enhance performance and enable swift rectification of any issues.

  • End to end Supply Chain Experience at Senior level
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP and S&OP tools
  • Material Management
