Buying Assistant Watford, Hertfordshire £23,500 + Pension + Parking This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Buying Assistant to join a progressive and expanding local organisation where you will be expected to take control of a wide variety of tasks in the Buying Department.Some of your duties will include:- Supporting the Buying Manager with the day to day management of the buying function- Liaising with suppliers in order to place orders and negotiate the best possible price- Scheduling delivery times with suppliers and preparing all necessary purchase order documentation- Co-ordaining stock deliveries to Warehouse and ensuring goods received meet quality standards- Inputting supplier invoices on the accounts system and forwarding to the Accounts Department for payment- Maintaining stock records on computer database system and updating with details of all stock movementBurton, Bolton & Rose only have the resources to respond to candidates who are suitable for the role advertised.
