Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager based within our Supported Living Services in Liverpool and Sefton to support us to maintain and develop our "Good" rating with CQC.This position would be ideal for a manager working at Team Leader level looking to take the next step.Service ManagerLocation: Sefton/LiverpoolSalary: £26.032.00 per annumType: 37.5 hours per week ,Full Time, Permanent Monday-Friday,Good working conditions with 5.6 Weeks holiday paidOvertime avalableAs the Service Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that good standards are implemented and maintained for our Service Users.We are inviting applications from experienced Managers who have;An in-depth knowledge of CQC Standards and their regulatory frameworkA proven record of implementing and maintaining excellent standards of care for our Service Users with a person-centred approach.JOB PURPOSE: To work as a Manager of teams in the provision of care and support services for people with Mental Health needs,Learning Disabilities and Acquired Brain Injury.THE PERSON: A positive, enthusiastic role model for staff who can see the "bigger picture". Understands the importance of maintaining the service users character.Service Manager -Roles and Responsibilities Skills and abilities

  • Experience of implementing and updating Support Plans
  • Experience of completing Risk Assessments and managing risk
  • Minimum of 2 years experience of managing within a caring environment
  • NVQ3 in Care
  • Experience of Out of Hours On-Call .
  • Good IT skills
  • Good numeric and literacy skills
  • Excellent people management skills, warm and friendly.
  • Strong team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Supervisory/leadership skills
  • Willing to develop management skills
  • Experience of managing staff teams.
  • Experience of completing staff rotas.
  • Knowledge of regulatory framework of service provision including Care Standards Act and The Health and Social Care Act
