REED Business Support Sunderland are working with a great Design and Manufacturing (Print / Signs) organisation based in Washington to recruit an experienced, organised and committed Machine Operator to join their growing business and work alongside a dynamic team where no two days are the same.This is a small but rapidly expanding organisation are passionate about what they do and this new addition to the team needs to be able to match their passion, energy and enthusiasm for all that they do. This company invests in its team and operational assets to ensure that they deliver high quality products to their customers securing repeat business quarter after quarter, year on year.The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating the large format digital printers, flatbed cutting table, plotters and other equipment. You will also participate in the manufacturing and production of our products.Past experience of using large format digital printers is preferred. Training will be provided on the flatbed cutting table, plotters and Signlab software. A knowledge of any type of design software would be an advantage but not essential.You must possess excellent communication skills alongside fluent written and spoken English.Working hours : Typically 9am – 6pm : Monday thru Saturday. Saturday is a rotational day and when worked the following Monday is a day off.This is a permanent role with a salary review after 3 months.We are looking to have someone start ASAP.Please note this company operates a strict no smoking policy during working hours.
