An accountancy practice based in South Tyneside are looking to appoint a Payroll Assistant to support with their growing payroll bureau service to clients.Based in their office you will help with the payroll processing for a number of their clients, some with a handful of employees, others with sizeable payrolls. The position will involve the collation of payroll information, entry onto their Brightpay systemand processing through for payment. You will hold strong communication skills as you will be required to liaise with their clients over the telephone and by e-mail. This role incorporates the payroll process from start to finish along with year end payrollrequirements for employees.We are looking for someone with payroll experience, preferably from a bureau or accountancy practice environment, familiar with managing multiple payrolls to tight deadlines. Applicants from Industry who have managed more than one payroll will also be considered.We are looking for an organised professional who copes well under pressure with payroll deadlines. The payroll is not complex but the volume is high requiring an individual who can prioritise.The office is a friendly one and you will very quickly be made to feel at home in the team.
